I know when you are merging your passion with your
business you should concentrate on promoting yourself,
I just can't help but, to brag on others too.
I really enjoy having displays through Inner Loop Gallery
at Khon's in Midtown. Not just because, it is business
but, because, they are simply NICE people.
Also, the other artists being displayed with, I enjoy
seeing what they accomplished or are showing. Putting
yourself out there being around them, inspires me even
more to continue to do what I love and appreciate
the gifts that others share.
Artists are fantastic people in my book ! Maybe a little
prejudice since I am one. But, who cares have a right to
be. The inner workings of their minds, their creativity is AWESOME!
What a way to start the New Year! :) Checked out Khon's an awesome
venue and being displayed along side 2 other incredible artists. Woo-hoo!

You know the saying "It takes a Village"?
Well in my case as an artist, it takes some
very kind and helpful people at:
JERRY'S ARTARAMA empowering artists since 1968
12974-A Willowchase Drive, Houston, Texas 77070
Joseph McFarland (Excellent Frame Manager)
David Strain (Excellent Customer Service)
George Rodriguez (Excellent Store Manager)
And the rest of the team I have randomly spoken to
and received help from, THANK YOU!
I recommend this store!
I like to watch/listen to documentaries when painting sometimes.
This is one I watched tonight.
History is amazing. The circle within time that occurs.
Technology may expand but, I believe the need of twisting, bending,
connecting, dabbing, raking, squinting, shaping, touching of the tools/ feeling of our earth will remain.
I'll be a featured artist in a show put on by Inner Loop Gallery. Showing along side Talented Christopher Lierle, Photographer and Jenny Toole, Painter.
The show opens January 4th, at an art bar in Midtown, Houston, Texas, with a fun opening night party that goes from 6 pm until closing time. Please come by and bring your art-loving friends. We'll have music and even some food earlier in the evening. The location is
Khon's Wine Darts Coffee Art Bar, 2808 Milam Street in Houston.
Look forward to meeting you there. :)
